Material Handler, Shipping 1st Shift
- Prepare workstation for daily functions and maintain workstation cleanliness.
- Verify that paperwork matches physical count of boxes to be shipped.
- Use UPS applications and CRM to ensure accuracy of shipping boxes.
- Weigh boxes to create tracking number(s).
- Label boxes with tracking label, place inventory inside and seal the box.
- Process multiple box shipments.
- Shrink-wrap pallet(s) and stage in designated area for pickup(s).
- Help load shipment onto the UPS truck either by hand truck, pallet jack or forklift.
- Close out UPS and provide summary report to carrier driver.
- Process Shipping by Common Carrier.
- Experience in order fulfillment, preferred.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with RF Scanners, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Software.
- Comfortable using a CRM for data entry purposes.
- Dependable, reliable, detail orientated and able to follow SOPs.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Forklift, Turret Truck, UPS, FedEx and Freight experience a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for up to 8 hours a day, with breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Comfortable using wearing PPE.
