Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Behavior Specialist position is available to provide behavioral support primarily within general education classrooms at both high school and elementary school levels. This role involves working closely with students who require behavioral interventions and collaborating with educators to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral support strategies in general education settings
• Develop and assist with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Document interventions following Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) protocols
• Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to behavior
• Train and collaborate with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and general education teachers on effective behavior management techniques
• Manage a caseload that includes both high school and elementary school students

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist or in a similar behavior support role
• Strong knowledge of BIP and FBA processes
• Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and IEP documentation
• Ability to train and support educators on behavior intervention methods
• Preference will be given to male candidates to meet specific program needs
• mitment to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
