Accountant
$70k-80k base salary + bonus + full comprehensive benefits Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will take charge of financial reporting, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can effectively collaborate with a growing team and communicate financial insights to stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage the general ledger and oversee timely transaction postings.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
- Support external audits and tax preparations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing, with a strong focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
