**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $16.73 / Hour**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and support orderly entry and exit procedures for employees, guests, and/or vendors.

+ Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and incident response needs while maintaining a professional presence.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
