Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
- Test Planning & Execution: Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Automation Support: Assist in the implementation, execution, maintenance of automated tests using tools such as Selenium , TestNG , Cucumber , and others.
- Defect Management: Track and manage defects, including identifying root causes, working with development teams to resolve them, and verifying fixes.
- Integration Testing: Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other tools.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability to requirements.
- UAT Support: Assist in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, ensuring end-users can successfully validate system functionality.
- Production Support: Support deployments to Production including Smoke level regression to ensure stable environments after release completes.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide suggestions to improve testing processes, automation practices, and the overall quality of the product.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough test documentation, including test cases, test results, and automation scripts for ongoing and future projects.
- 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing, preferably in a PEO or similar domain.
- Direct experience with automation tools such as Selenium , TestNG , Cucumber , and Postman .
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, test lifecycle management, and defect tracking systems.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within an Agile environment.
- High level of experience/ SME in payroll, Payroll Processing, HR and PEO applications.
- Solid understanding of databases and experience with SQL for data validation.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Leadership qualities include leading and mentoring other team members.
- Experience with .NET Applications.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications.
- Knowledge of API testing (RestAssured, SoapUI).
