Position Overview

The Outreach & Business Development Specialist is a relationship-driven role responsible for expanding and strengthening PRC's referral network across South Florida. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the community, understands the behavioral health landscape, and values authentic, long-term partnerships.

This is not a commission-only or cold-sales role . It is a W-2, full-time position offering a strong base salary with performance-based incentives , flexibility, and long-term growth within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Relationship Development

• Build and maintain referral relationships with providers, therapists, hospitals, detox centers, and community partners

• Conduct consistent in-person outreach visits, follow-ups, and regular check-ins

• Attend local networking events, conferences, and recovery-focused initiatives

• Serve as a trusted PRC representative in the community

Admissions & Referral Collaboration

• Partner closely with the Admissions team to support timely follow-up and smooth intake transitions

• Visit detox facilities and referral partners to introduce PRC programs and build rapport

• Communicate professionally with referral sources and families to support transparency and trust

Performance & Reporting

• Track outreach activity, accounts, and leads in CRM (Pipedrive or similar)

• Submit concise weekly outreach summaries and updates

• Support consistent referral growth aligned with program capacity and goals

Brand & Community Presence

• Represent PRC with professionalism, warmth, and integrity

• Support visibility through community engagement and collaborative initiatives

• Uphold PRC's mission and values in all external interactions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in outreach, business development, admissions, or community relations
  (Behavioral health, SUD, or healthcare experience strongly preferred)

• Based in or near Davie, FL with reliable transportation for daily local travel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Organized, proactive, and relationship-driven

• Comfortable working independently with accountability

• CRM experience preferred

• Valid driver's license; ability to complete background screening and drug testing
