Founding Engineer - Hybrid/Remote
As a Founding Engineer , you'll assume a hands-on role in designing, building, and maintaining the production features that power a rapidly growing DeFi trading platform. You'll be responsible for optimising developer velocity, ensuring platform reliability, and fostering a security-first culture.
Job Requirements
- Experience
24+ years in Product Engineer or Design roles (preferably at high-growth mobile apps or in Web3/crypto). - Product Sense
Deep knowledge of design systems and consumer behavior. - Problem-Solving Mindset
You design and develop end-to-end features that are robust, scalable, and cost-effective. - Passion for DeFi
Strong interest or experience in crypto/blockchain. You're excited to bring on-chain products to the masses. - Open to US remote but must be open to frequent travel.
Nice to Haves
- 24 years of experience working on consumer mobile apps, preferably financial apps.
- Previous experience at a company during a rapid growth phase (e.g., startup to mid-size).
- Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies (e.g., Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, etc.).
- Expertise in designing and implementing robust security architectures and protocols.
Tech Stack
- Frontend : Flutter (iOS + Android)
- Backend : Go, Postgres, Redis
- Infrastructure : Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Docker, Terraform
- On-Chain : Solana (with plans to explore Base, L2s, and additional blockchains)
