Electrical Foreman

We are a leading highway signage company specializing in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for highway lighting, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits, timers, and street signs. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman to join our team. This role involves the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical system components to enhance and upgrade our infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain new electrical or electronic wiring equipment.
• Diagnose existing systems and components to identify electrical problems or failures.
• Prepare sketches and analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems for new or upgraded installations.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
• Work from ladders, bucket trucks, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, and driving vehicles as needed to restore power.
• Maintain assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools to ensure availability in a safe operating condition.
• Coordinate with assigned Foreman and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates via telephone, written form, email, or in person.
• Stay updated technically and apply new knowledge to job functions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work from heights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
