Cohen Vaughan seeks a talented Legal Assistant to join its Sarasota office. The salary is competitive and based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and managing calendars
• Drafting documents
• Organizing and maintaining files
• Drafting, proofreading, and filing or sending legal documents (e.g., motions and correspondence to clients and outside parties)
• Answering calls
• Managing client communications
• Performing administrative duties, including:
  • Maintaining lawyers’ calendars
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Making photocopies
  • Compiling complex documentation
• Experience working with multiple lawyers simultaneously
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook for scheduling purposes
• Scheduling and calendar management is required
• Proficiency in typing is required
