Job Summary

The Innovation Program Operations Manager is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of employee innovation programs. This role ensures innovative teams have a high-quality, well-supported experience throughout 90-day experiment cycles, from kickoff through pitch and follow-ups. The position supports multiple teams operating in parallel across global time zones in a fully remote environment.
Job Description
- Manage daily operations of multiple innovation teams running simultaneously through 90-day experiment cycles.
- Track team progress, experiments, milestones, and outcomes.
- Identify teams that are stuck and intervene early with appropriate support.
- Coach teams in applying design thinking, human-centered design, and experimentation methods.
- Host and facilitate coaching and feedback sessions focused on problem framing, experimentation, learning synthesis, and pitch development.
- Serve as the primary communication hub for innovation teams.
- Share updates and recognize progress through internal communication platforms.
- Plan, schedule, host, and facilitate program kickoffs, coaching sessions, and final pitch events.
- Coordinate logistics for pitch events, including calendars, materials, and audiences.
- Create and distribute program completion certificates.
- Support teams in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, generate insights, and improve experimentation.
- Apply AI tools to program operations, communication, and problem-solving.
- Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and progress monitoring systems.
- Support teams through uncertainty, resistance, and rapid change.
Skills Required
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience coaching or facilitating:
- Design Thinking
- Human-Centered Design
- Lean experimentation
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills for early-stage innovation teams.
- Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for storytelling, presentations, and visual communication.
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking progress, status, and metrics.
- Comfort using AI tools for productivity, research, and problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate as a player-coach: operator, mentor, and community builder.
- Customer-first mindset and high level of self-motivation.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Work schedule : 08:00 AM
- Fully remote role supporting globally distributed teams.
- Flexible schedule required to accommodate multiple time zones, including early morning or late evening calls.
- Contractor must have a strong background in scheduling and organization.
- Experience supporting teams through ambiguity, uncertainty, and change.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite and event facilitation.
- Design thinking experience is strongly preferred.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $84.66 to $92.66 per hour based on qualifications.
