Assistant Property Manager (Medical)
Location: Tampa to Sarasota, FL (travel required between properties throughout the portfolio)

Position Summary
The Assistant Property Manager supports the operational, financial, and administrative management of a portfolio of medical office and commercial properties. Working closely with the Property Manager, this role helps ensure exceptional tenant service, efficient property operations, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with lease obligations. Regular travel between assigned properties is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of a portfolio of medical office and commercial properties.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
- Conduct property inspections and assist in monitoring building maintenance, life safety, and appearance standards.
- Review leases and support tenant move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and tenant improvement projects.
- Process invoices, review accounts payable, and assist with monthly financial reporting and budget tracking.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, CAM reconciliations, and expense analysis.
- Coordinate vendor activities and ensure compliance with contract requirements and property standards.
- Partner with the Property Manager to support asset performance and tenant retention initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of commercial property management experience, preferably within medical office or healthcare real estate.
- Advanced proficiency with Yardi required.
- Strong financial experience required, including accounts payable, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management/accounting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between assigned properties.
