Salary: $75,000–$95,000 + comprehensive benefits and other perks
Location: Ocala, FL (relocation assistance available)

Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Banquets to join a premier destination known for delivering large-scale events and exceptional hospitality experiences.
This role will support banquet and event operations across the property, helping lead teams, coordinate complex events, and ensure every guest experience is executed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and banquet events
• Coordinate with clients, event planners, catering, audiovisual, and setup teams
• Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate banquet staff
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown while maintaining service, safety, and timeline standards
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve event-related issues
• Support banquet budgets, monitor expenses and revenue, and manage labor costs
• Identify opportunities to increase profitability and maximize event revenue through upselling
• Maintain banquet equipment, inventory, and operational resources

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred
• 3–5 years of banquet or event management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a large team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk continuously for up to 8 hours
