About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Service Manager to join our Gainesville team—someone who brings positivity, accountability, and a hands-on presence to the front of house. You don’t need years of experience—just a strong work ethic, great people skills, and the drive to build a career with 4 Rivers.

You’ll play a key role in leading our FOH team, creating memorable guest experiences, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. From managing the dining room to handling admin tasks like scheduling and payroll assistance, your impact will be felt across the restaurant.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead FOH team members with a service-first, people-focused mindset
• Be a consistent presence on the floor—engaging guests, supporting staff, and ensuring a smooth flow of service
• Assist with scheduling, payroll support, and other admin responsibilities
• Help onboard, train, and mentor new hires
• Maintain 4 Rivers’ high standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
• Build a culture of teamwork, communication, and positivity

What You Bring:

• Restaurant or customer service experience
• A natural leader who’s organized, dependable, and great under pressure
• Comfortable handling schedules and basic administrative systems
• Passion for creating great guest experiences and a welcoming environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• A growth mindset and a desire to build a future with 4 Rivers

4 Rivers Smokehouse began with the launch of the “Barbecue Ministry” in 2004, when John hosted a cookout fundraiser to support a local family whose young daughter was battling cancer. This one event resulted in a passion for supporting local schools, churches, and charitable organizations. After trials, tribulations, and a whole lot of burnt ends, we finally flipped that “Hot Brisket Now” sign on in October of 2009. Within the first hour, a line had formed out the door…and then around the corner.
