ADP Payroll/Benefits Specialist

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an ADP Payroll & Benefits Specialist for an onsite (5 days per week) contract to hire role. Summary: This is a critical operational role responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll and benefits administration for approximately 400 employees across multiple U.S. states. The team is open to hiring either a junior payroll professional (1-2 years of experience) who can be trained, or a senior payroll specialist with deeper ADP and multi-state experience. While the role may begin as contract or contract-to-hire, the long-term goal is to convert a dependable payroll professional who is committed to growing with the organization. Duties:

• Entering, updating, and removing garnishments and child support orders
• Ensuring garnishment calculations and deductions are correct
• Verifying 401(k) loans and demographic file feeds
• Submitting payroll changes and corrections in ADP
• Downloading and auditing payroll reports
• Supporting payroll reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
• Coordinating with accounting on benefits-related invoicing and reconciliations
• Validating, auditing, and inputting payroll data in ADP
• Reviewing payroll outputs for accuracy before processing
• Total Employees Supported: ~400
• Payroll Cycle: Bi-weekly
• States Supported: Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Texas

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist supports the execution and administration of existing benefits programs, including:

• Open enrollment support
• Employee benefit activation and deactivation
• Ensuring employees are enrolled in the correct plans
• Responding to employee benefits questions and concerns
• Troubleshooting benefits-related issues
• Hands-on ADP payroll experience (hard requirement)
• Bilingual: English & Spanish
• Multi-state payroll exposure, including varying wage, tax, and compliance requirements
• Proven attention to detail with an audit-focused mindset
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees
• Willingness and ability to work fully on-site (no hybrid or remote options)
