Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee the buildout of luxury retail, hospitality, and mixed-use spaces surrounding a world-class destination property in Ocala. This owner-side role offers direct access to key decision-makers and the opportunity to deliver flagship-quality construction where every detail counts.
This is not a one-off build—it’s a long-term development runway with serious visibility.
What You’ll Do
• Lead commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Partner with ownership, architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors
• Manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and change orders
• Ensure execution aligns with premium design and finish standards
• Conduct regular site walks, inspections, and progress meetings
• Oversee permitting, compliance, and safety requirements
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders
• Proactively resolve issues to keep work on time and on budget
What They’re Looking For
• 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Background in luxury or high-end builds (retail, hospitality, mixed-use, flagship spaces)
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with premium finishes
• Strong financial and budget oversight capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, owner-driven environment
