- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems
- Collaborate with the parts department to acquire necessary parts
- Thoroughly examine vehicles for additional safety or service requirements
- Promptly communicate with service advisors for any unnecessary work
- Document all work performed accurately
- Conduct road tests on vehicles when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide detailed labor and time estimates for additional repairs
- Effectively communicate mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers
- Participate in ongoing formal training to stay current with advancing technology
- Handle any other tasks as assigned
- Adherence to the company's uniform policy
- Preferably, previous auto repair and dealership service department experience
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service
- Proficient in using shop equipment and must have own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays under a rotating schedule
