We are looking for a Pool & Beach Manager to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.
Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.
Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the Pool & Beach General Manager, the Pool and Beach Manager is responsible for the daily operations and guest experience of Delano’s Pool and Beach ensuring seamless coordination between service, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role oversees all front line operations, including staffing, scheduling, equipment management, and service flow to maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the pool and beach experience, from pre-arrival to post- departure, ensuring world class service that aligns with Delano service standards.
- Maintain an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication through impeccable presentation, music, tone, and lifestyle programming.
- Manage daily operations, including seating allocations, cabana reservations, towel and amenity logistics, and POS oversight.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols across all areas.
- Monitor and maintain pool and beach equipment, ensuring readiness and appearance standards.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll accuracy, and labor optimization for team efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and coach team members, instilling brand standards and performance expectations.
- Support revenue generations through sales, premium offerings, and guest programming.
- Monitor expenses, inventory, and supply costs to meet departmental targets.
- Maintain guest and team safety awareness through daily inspections and proactive communication.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
