The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the condominium's common areas and facilities. This position helps ensure a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents, guests, and staff.
- Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and recreational areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces in common areas.
- Monitor building grounds and remove litter, leaves, and debris.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and reporting maintenance issues.
- Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal, salting walkways, or leaf cleanup, as required.
- Set up and clean up community rooms for meetings or resident events.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies.
- Report safety hazards, damages, or security concerns to the property manager or maintenance supervisor.
Full-Time
Pay Rate: $16
