Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience) + tips

Position Summary

We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Barista to join our growing team. As a Barista, you'll prepare high-quality beverages and food items while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll play an important role in maintaining our high standards for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality while helping create an exceptional experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, refreshers, lemonades, and specialty beverages according to recipes.
• Steam milk and craft consistent, high-quality beverages.
• Prepare and serve pastries and breakfast items.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process orders and payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
• Restock ingredients, cups, syrups, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Represent the Sweet Drip Cafe brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must have flexible availability and be able to work:

• Weekdays and weekends
• Some holidays
• Special events, pop-ups, and community events as needed (required)
• Morning shifts (preferred)
• Afternoon and evening shifts as Sweet Drip Cafe expands its hours of operation
