The bank is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Payroll & Cross-Border Tax Analyst to join their Global Payroll Services team. This role focuses on supporting payroll processing, cross-border administration, and taxation issues while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and global regulations. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience in customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to Cross-Border Employee Tax (CBET) requests via the ServiceNow ticketing system from case creation to closure, ensuring completeness and proper documentation.
• Manage CBET inquiries via a shared mailbox and provide prompt, clear communication to vendors, employees, and global partners.
• Validate and update employee data as necessary.
• Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel features such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Handle critical and time-sensitive payroll issues to ensure compliance.
• Support special projects, including trailing liabilities related to supplemental compensation and split tax allocations.
• Interpret and apply statutory rules, compliance regulations, and company policy to ensure accurate payroll.
• Analyze complex payroll calculations and implement compliant solutions.
• Participate in risk assessment, ensuring decisions align with compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 23 years of relevant payroll, taxation, or cross-border experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• ServiceNow experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
