Data Quality and Master Data Management Lead - Orlando, FL
Our client is a leader in endpoint protection technologies, providing enterprise-level cybersecurity tools to improve the security of servers and endpoints. The role will be based in Orlando, FL, and is an in-office position. Position Overview:
They are seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Governance & Master Data Manager to lead the development and execution of their organization’s Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, security, and reliability of core business data across all departments. This position combines strategic vision with operational leadership — setting standards, implementing processes and solutions, defining KPIs, and driving continuous improvement in data management practices. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of data integrity analysts as part of one-time Data Quality and Master Data remediation program.
- Liaise with data stewards from multiple business functions and technical stakeholders to identify and document gaps in Data Quality and Master Data Management. Develop remediation solutions and processes to address.
- Define the overarching Data Governance and Master Data Management strategy for the organization and the operating model needed to realize it to ensure the accuracy, consistency and security of all core business data on an ongoing basis.
- Develop the roadmap to delivering on that strategy. Implement and enforce standards, processes and solutions needed. Lead the daily operations of this function of the business.
- Design and implement the reporting framework and KPIs required to monitor improvements and manage Data Governance, Quality and Master Data Management.
- 3-5 Years of experience in a similar Data Quality, Data Governance or Master Data Management role.
- Third-level degree
- Leadership/management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of information systems, databases and SQL
- Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrable ability to influence and collaborate with departmental heads across different functions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
