Treatment Engagement Specialist
:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers all assigned, incoming calls. Engages potential clients, performs initial screening process, determines financial eligibility, and arranges admissions into Detox or Residential services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelors' degree or equivalent. Strong sales background, extensive knowledge and understanding of substance abuse and various forms of treatment, strong people skills to provide excellent internal and external customer service, knowledge of online marketing engagement strategies, and web-based tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Effectively collaborates with members of Treatment Team in planning and providing a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
- Answers all assigned, incoming calls using company-provided cellular telephone.
- Engages the client and/or loved one rapidly and arranges admission into program as quickly as possible.
- Identifies ineligible clients quickly and makes referrals to other programs.
- Performs work in an organized, responsible, and efficient manner.
- Integrates with all agency departments to provide education on available treatment options and to ensure all potential clients are identified in a timely manner.
- Meets sales and revenue objectives as determined by supervisor.
- Records incoming call data as well as admission and revenue data and generates reports to be reviewed by supervisor.
- Participates in special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; following established confidentiality policy and procedures; maintaining professional boundaries with clients.

- Completes all training requirements in a timely manner.
- Maintains inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
- Completes all other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Complies with all agency policies and procedures, laws, and regulations under which Coastal operates.
