About the Role

T eaching experience preferred, not required. We seek an experienced Graphic Design and Adobe CC professional to join our Graphic Design and Web Design department as an instructor! Must have experience in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere as your primary focus is teaching this to the next generation of Graphic Design professionals!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teaching After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere in an engaging format
• Inspire and support students with a "hands-on" and active approach as they progress through coursework
• Complete rubric grading for student projects consistently and promptly
• Answer all student and faculty correspondence in MS Teams, Canvas, and Email
• Tally attendance and grades into the Student Information System
• Create a safe, supportive, creative, and dynamic environment for students

Recommended Skills or Experience

• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• 5+ years of field-related experience or 3+ years of experience with relevant accredited certification or degree.
• Instructors shall have completed postsecondary training in either a state-licensed school or a college accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education plus one year of job experience related to the subjects taught; or have completed a minimum of three years of successful job experience directly related to the subjects taught.
• Adept with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition).
• Understands several types of digital cameras.
• Firm grasp of color theory and design
• Wide knowledge of website prototyping and development
• Flexible schedule

Minimum Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years experience or a diploma in higher education

The salary range for this role is $19.00 - $23.00 per hour!

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to physically access and navigate each department at our facility.
