Position: Transportation Dispatcher
Location: Onsite – Plantation, Florida
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Schedule: Hours to be determined

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign appropriate drivers and vehicles (e.g., wheelchair van, gurney van, sedan) based on member transportation needs.
• Ensure all scheduled trips are covered with suitable transportation providers within the required timeframe.
• Respond to urgent, last-minute trip requests by quickly securing drivers and vehicles.
• Reschedule medical appointments when transportation cannot be arranged.
• Monitor trip dashboards in real-time to identify and address delays or issues.
• Dispatch drivers for return trips, ensuring timely pickups and smooth transitions.
• Maintain communication with members until transportation is confirmed and any issues are resolved.
• Update trip schedules regularly to reflect changes, cancellations, or reassignments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Background in logistics, transportation coordination, dispatching, or customer service is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stay calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive work style.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus.
• Professionalism: Must demonstrate a caring attitude and uphold customer service values in all interactions.
