About The Position

The Tampa Bay Sun FC is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Account Executive. The Account Executive position is an incredible opportunity to start a sales career in the sports industry with an organization committed to professional growth and career development. Account Executives experience every aspect of the ticket sales operation in addition to a 360 degree view of the organization, while developing the skill set needed to succeed in the sports industry through recurring sales and product training. The ideal candidate is passionate about starting a sales career in the sports industry, possesses a strong work ethic, can battle through adversity, and has the determination to succeed in an ultra-competitive, fast-paced, and highly rewarding work environment.

Job Summary

  • Share in our mission.
  • Energetically build new relationships by self-prospecting, cold calling, and effective campaign management.
  • Meet face-to-face with new and existing clients/prospects with the goal of procuring sales.
  • Generate new sales leads through prospecting and networking events.
  • Grow and prospect Season Ticket holders.
  • Grow and prospect Group Ticket accounts.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/yearly overall sales and revenue goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service.
  • Attend all Tampa Bay Sun FC home games and contribute to all in-game sales related activities.
  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and clients through HubSpot CRM.
  • Maintain accurate notes through CRM software for leads and sales tracking.
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing collaborative relationships with all team members.
  • Other duties as business needs evolve.

Qualifications &experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish & English, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ticketing systems and CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including all home games, non-game day events,
  • evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Must be able to pass all background and safeguarding checks.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic professional environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, resourceful, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
  • Excels at building rapport.
