Director of Marketing Location: Remote (U.S.) Compensation: $125,000 Base + Performance Bonus (Target Earnings: $150,000–$175,000+)

Reports To: CEO Lead Growth. Drive Revenue. Build the Future. Pop Sells is on a mission to transform how people buy and sell boats, RVs, powersports vehicles, heavy equipment, aircraft, and more. With a nationwide network of approximately 250 independent sales professionals and a performance-driven business model, we're looking for a Director of Marketing who thrives on measurable growth, data-driven decision-making, and turning marketing investments into revenue.

What You'll Do As our Director of Marketing, you'll own the entire marketing engine—from strategy to execution. You'll lead initiatives that generate qualified leads, fuel sales growth, and strengthen our brand presence nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a high-performance marketing strategy aligned with aggressive growth goals.
- Lead paid acquisition programs across search, social, programmatic, and emerging channels.
- Optimize lead generation funnels to increase conversion rates and maximize return on marketing spend.
- Manage affiliate partnerships and third-party listing platforms to expand lead volume and revenue opportunities.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics including CPL, CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs to drive smarter investment decisions.
- Lead brand development, social media strategy, customer journey initiatives, and event marketing programs.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Partner closely with sales, operations, technology, and executive leadership to align growth initiatives and business objectives.
- Continuously test, learn, and scale programs that deliver measurable business results.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing.
- Proven success managing marketing budgets with clear ROI accountability.
- Deep expertise in paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, and lead generation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
- Experience managing affiliate, partner, or marketplace-based lead generation programs.
- Track record of scaling marketing programs in high-growth environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with marketplace, transactional, or performance-based business models.
- Familiarity with boating, RV, powersports, automotive, commercial trucking, heavy equipment, or aviation industries.
