Rooms Manager

As the Rooms Manager, you will run the daily Front Office operations of a Disney Deluxe Vacation Club Resort. Your partnership with all lines of business within the resort will be essential to your success in leading your Cast. Your understanding of the Disney Vacation Club Guest experience and the Guest expectations of a deluxe resort experience will be important to the role. You will coordinate VIP arrival, departure and intra-stay itinerary communicate to ensure a flawless end-to-end Guest experience. This position will report to the General Manger of Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
What You Will Do:
Provide a front-line management contact for guests with unique service requirements or items to be addressed
Lead the operation of all aspects of Front Office including Front Desk, Concierge and Bell Service operations
Lead, mentor, empower and provide feedback to your Cast Members and direct reports
Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and partner with other lines of businesses as needed
Use Guest voice tools (e.g. Medallia, Operations Dashboards, HotSOS or equivalent software) to supervise service delivery level and make strategic decisions to positively improve Guest experience
Champion an environment supporting the delivery of the Five Keys (safety, courtesy, show efficiency, and inclusion)
Required Qualifications & Skills:
At least 4 years of resort Leadership experience
Possess a valid US driver's license and able to drive company vehicles
Passion for service and dedication to safety and security awareness
Advanced skills managing demands and deadlines simultaneously amidst constant change
Ability to find creative solutions, anticipate business impacts and serve as a trusted advisor for direct reports, peers, partners and other Leaders
High proficiency leading the financial impacts of an operation and producing positive results
Previous experience leading a team in a unionized environment
Aptness to work with partners from different levels and teams to move the operation forward to the next level of excellence
Capability to share communication across teams to ensure everyone understands updates, priorities and appropriate course of action
Proficiency to translate results into clear, story-based presentations to different audiences and levels of leadership
Increased focus to support the roles of trainers and coordinators
Dedication to encourage, educate, and hold leaders and hourly Cast accountable to support an immersive Guest experience
Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift repetitively during entire shift
Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment and other technologies
Ability to work any shift including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of Leadership experience of leading Salaried Leaders in Front Office Operations
Experience working at a luxury property or Disney Resort Hotel
Experience using Lilo, HotSOS/Rex, CastApp, or Magic
Multilingual skills in languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field or equivalent experience
