We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to take charge of our network infrastructure. This role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining secure and efficient networks, with a focus on VLAN implementation, firewall administration, structured cabling, and wireless access point management. Essential Functions:

· Design, implement, and manage VLAN configurations across enterprise networks

· Install, configure, and maintain firewall solutions to ensure secure network traffic

· Handle physical network setups including structured cabling and patch panel management

· Oversee deployment and maintenance of wireless access points and related systems

· Monitor network performance and perform troubleshooting as needed

· Maintain documentation for configurations, systems, and procedures

· Collaborate with other IT team members to support infrastructure upgrades and projects

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering or related roles

· Proficiency with VLAN configuration and segmentation

· Solid experience with firewall setup and maintenance (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)

· Familiarity with structured cabling standards and physical network setup

· Experience managing enterprise wireless solutions and access points

· Strong understanding of routing, switching, and IP subnetting

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Additional Skills:

· Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent

· Experience with network monitoring tools and scripting for automation
