Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a culinary environment.
- Strong organizational skills and impeccable cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and culinary techniques is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to help team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment is essential for success in this role.
- Desire for excellence in food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

Funciones
- Preparar y cocinar los platos del menú de acuerdo con las recetas y estándares establecidos.
- Asegurar que todos los alimentos se preparen en cumplimiento con las normativas de seguridad e higiene alimentaria.
- Mantener la limpieza y el orden de la cocina y las áreas de trabajo.
- Colaborar con los auxiliares de dietética y el resto del personal de cocina para garantizar un servicio de alimentos eficiente.
- Emplear técnicas adecuadas en el manejo de cuchillos para la preparación de alimentos, asegurando precisión y seguridad.
Experiencia
- 1-2 años de experiencia en un entorno culinario.
- Sólidas habilidades organizativas e impecables estándares de limpieza.
- El conocimiento de requisitos dietéticos y técnicas culinarias se considera un valor añadido.
- Conocimiento de las normativas de seguridad alimentaria y de las prácticas de saneamiento adecuadas.
- Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y de ritmo acelerado, manteniendo al mismo tiempo la atención al detalle.
- La disposición para ayudar a los miembros del equipo y contribuir a un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo es esencial para el éxito en este puesto.
- Deseo de excelencia en el ámbito de la comida, la bebida y la hostelería.
- Capacidad para estirarse, inclinarse, agacharse y levantar frecuentemente cargas de hasta 50 libras.
