Schedule and Work Environment

• Schedule varies by location and specialty

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Outpatient: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Home Health: Monday–Friday

• Acute Care: Rotating weekends and holidays

• Post-Acute: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

• Evaluate and assess patients with physical, developmental, and functional impairments

• Develop individualized treatment plans and establish functional goals

• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions to improve independence

• Reduce risk of injury, disability, and functional limitations

• Promote health, wellness, and safety across patient populations of all ages

• Document patient progress and outcomes in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred)

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience

• Current AHA BLS certification (valid for at least 90 days post-hire)

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
