Restaurant Cleaning-Maintenance Technician (Destin, FL)
TEL Staffing is looking for a Restaurant Cleaning-Maintenance Technician to work at a fast-paced restaurant in Destin FL .
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Restaurant Cleaning-Maintenance Technician to handle basic repairs and cleaning within our busy restaurant to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for both our customers and our employees. This role combines both janitorial duties with light maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
- Conduct minor repairs on furniture (chairs, tables), fixtures, and equipment
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and touch-up repairs
- Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies organized and stocked
- Inspect the facility regularly
- Ensure all work meets safety and health standards
- Report and/or fix issues as needed
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning and/or maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general repairs and upkeep
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Pay:
Starts at $18+/hr. (depending on current level of experience)
Schedule:
- 7 days a week ..... 8am - 1pm (Approximately)
- MUST be able to work BOTH weekdays AND weekends
***Must pass a routine pre-employment background check before starting work***
This position is Temp to Hire. No benefits are offered during the Temp period.
