Position Summary
Caya Integrated Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through assessments, diagnosis, and treatment in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history and physical exams
- Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and educate patients on proper use
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatric providers, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Provide patient-centered care with a strong focus on outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Florida PA license
- NCCPA certification required
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently within scope
- Excellent communication and patient rapport
Work Environment
- Outpatient clinical setting
- Team-oriented and fast-paced
- Focus on quality care over volume
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Frequent use of computers and EMR systems
1099 Contractor Role
This is an independent contractor position offering flexibility and autonomy in scheduling while working within a collaborative care environment.
