Executive Sous Chef

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Sous Chef / Culinary Agent to lead kitchen operations, create unique and exciting menus, and help build a high-performing culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creativity, organization, and leadership while respecting kosher dietary laws.
Key Responsibilities Culinary InnovationDevelop and execute innovative, high-end kosher menus featuring bold flavors, seasonal ingredients, and creative plating.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design special tasting menus, holiday offerings, and signature dishes.
Research global food trends and adapt them into kosher-friendly culinary concepts.
Lead, train, and inspire a diverse culinary team to deliver exceptional food quality and consistency.
Create, implement, and maintain kitchen systems, workflows, prep lists, and workstation organization.
Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen environment.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory control, recipe costing, and vendor relationships.
Ensure all recipes, plating standards, and portion sizes are followed and documented.
Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards, with strict adherence to kosher guidelines under rabbinical supervision.
Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef, Culinary Agent, or similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of kosher kitchen operations (prior kosher experience preferred but not required—training provided).
Exceptional culinary creativity and attention to detail in flavor balance and plating.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a kitchen team.
Excellent organizational and system-building skills (prep systems, inventory, ordering, production schedules).
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining standards of excellence.
