We Love Who We Serve.SUMMARY:The BI Analytics Director serves as a BI domain expert for the firm. This position will be responsible for executing the strategy and implementation of complex information programs, the delivery of enterprise and departmental dashboards, and metrics from the Information Marketplace and serve as a data subject matter expert for enterprise initiatives. The Director will be an expert in the firm’s reporting technologies that deliver information to the enterprise. The Director will also collaborate with key business leadership to develop and advance an enterprise-scale information strategy including participating in the BI Steering Committee. The position will be responsible for team management and leadership of Business Intelligence Developers and Data analysts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide strategic direction, management, and oversight for delivery of information to the firm. Manage day to day activities of a subset of the BI team. Provide mentoring, guidance, and assist the development of team members with their assignments.Assist workstream owners with knowledge and nuanced details around data within Kforce systems.Gather requirements needed for tasks in support of reporting and analytics.Determine data flows between systems of record and reporting systems.Perform SME duties as required related to systems, data, and reporting.Assist with implementing strategies from high-level management and requests to develop reporting that carry significant organizational influence within the business units.Evaluate and help plan technical strategies for improving system integration, performance, scalability, etc.Assist with defining policies and procedures for the department regarding production and non-production data.Analyze business processes to determine needs for system changes, resource requirements, etc.Collaborate with business units and users to translate complicated requirements into practical solutions.Determine and execute issue resolutions which affect production.Monitor and manage project budget and expenses for BI initiatives and systems.Support the creation and maintenance of documents, processes, reports, and applications, per department policies and procedures.Contribute to the development and maintenance of a variety of BI components including PowerBI dashboards, EDW databases, AAS Cubes, Stored Procedures, and functions.Keep abreast of best practices and new technologies, emerging trends, techniques, and ideas.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Yes, has the following direct reports: Business Intelligence Developer, Sr. Business Intelligence Developer, Data Analyst and flex resources as needed. KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS/ATTRIBUTES:Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.Demonstrate strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills.Ability to self-motivate, set goals, and meet deadlines.Stay current on newest technology and industry trends.Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and trust.Ability to identify deficiencies and take corrective action.Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).Commitment and adherence to firm Core Values.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years of related technical experience.Expert working knowledge and experience with PowerBI dashboard creation and PowerBI environment administration.Experience leading BI analytics activities and initiatives required.Must have strong knowledge of visualization methodologies, operating systems and internet technologies, project management, system development life cycle methodologies, a minimum of seven years in BI related positions with increased levels of responsibility.Strong understanding and experience of enabling business partners through the implementation of business intelligence solutions required.CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:Professional certifications of the above education and/or experience preferred.
