We are currently partnering with a growing company seeking a motivated Lawn Care Technician to join their team. This role involves applying fertilizers and pesticides, identifying turf and lawn health issues, and delivering high-quality treatments across assigned service routes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior lawn care experience who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow into a more technical position. Training will be provided, but candidates should already have a solid understanding of grass types, turf conditions, and general lawn care practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely and effectively apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to commercial properties
• Identify grass types, weeds, pests, and common turf health issues
• Evaluate lawn conditions and determine appropriate treatment recommendations
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain spray equipment for proper performance
• Inspect equipment regularly and ensure it remains in safe working condition
• Complete assigned service routes efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding services when needed
• Accurately complete required paperwork and service documentation after each job
• Represent the company professionally while working in the field

Who We’re Looking For

• Ability to identify common Florida grass types and understand the proper treatment methods for each
• Experience applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn treatment products safely and effectively
• Knowledge of basic plant identification, including the care and maintenance of the 10–15 most common Florida plants and shrubs used in the landscaping industry
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment, including Z-Sprayers and stand-on spray units equipped with hoppers and tanks for liquid and granular applications
• Experience operating and maintaining horticultural lawn application trucks, including knowledge of pump and tank systems
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR) required
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards and productivity
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe application practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
• Professional communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

What You Can Expect

• $18.00 - $22.00/depending on experience
• Schedule of Monday – Thursday, 6:15am – 4:45pm
