**What you will do:**
+ **Patient evaluation:** A physical therapist will consult with a patient to learn about their medical history, symptoms, and concerns. They will then perform a physical assessment, which may include observing a patient's movement, to diagnose the nature of the dysfunction.
+ **Treatment plan development:** Based on the evaluation, the therapist develops a comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plan. This plan includes setting goals with the patient and outlining the expected outcomes of the therapy.
+ **Therapeutic interventions:** The therapist will implement a variety of hands-on techniques and exercises, such as stretching, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic exercise, to help patients achieve their goals. They may also use equipment like wheelchairs or walkers and apply modalities like electrical stimulation or ultrasound to promote healing.
+ **Monitoring and modification:** Therapists continuously monitor a patient's response to treatment and adjust the plan as necessary to ensure progress towards the desired outcomes.
+ **Patient and family education:** A key part of the role is educating the patient and their family on how to properly perform exercises and manage pain at home to support recovery between sessions.
**Minimum Qualifications** **:**
*** Graduate of Accredited School of Physical Therapy is required.**
**Licensure/Certifications** **:**
*** Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required**
***BLS through American Heart Association**
***Orthopedic certifications preferred**
***Strong Orthopedic background required**
