Office Manager

SIMEDHealth, a growing and respected multi-specialty healthcare group serving North Central Florida, is seeking an Office Manager to oversee our Allergy & Asthma clinic operations at our Gainesville location.
As a Manager, you’ll play a vital role in guiding day-to-day clinic operations, leading an engaged team of clinical and administrative staff, and collaborating closely with providers to ensure the highest standards in patient care, compliance, and performance. You’ll be instrumental in driving both quality outcomes and operational efficiency while ensuring an exceptional experience for patients and staff alike.
What You'll Do:
- Independently manage daily clinic operations and oversee all front and back office functions
- Supervise, train, and evaluate clinic staff while maintaining optimal staffing and clinic coverage
- Partner with providers and clinical staff to maintain consistent patient flow and maximize scheduling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and SIMEDHealth protocols and procedures
- Monitor clinic finances including petty cash and patient accounts; work with A/R to resolve billing issues
- Develop and implement operational policies in partnership with SIMEDHealth’s administrative team
- Support marketing and outreach efforts tailored to the community and specific patient populations
- Provide leadership, resolve staff and patient concerns, and promote a culture of accountability
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate degree or higher preferred (equivalent work experience considered)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting; previous experience with Allergy or similar specialty a plus!
- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in healthcare
- Proven ability to manage staff, streamline operations, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR), scheduling, and billing systems
