We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a forward-thinking company, where you will play a critical role in our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Controller, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Managing cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
8. Overseeing cash, investments, and asset management area.
9. Exploring investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
10. Maintaining relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Controller position should possess the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation is also required
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Proven experience with ledger operations, cash flow management, and general ledger (GL) activities.
4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
