LINE COOK
Hunters amp; Gatherers is looking for an experienced Line Cook who wants to do more than just work a station.
We’re looking for someone who loves food, brings ideas to the table, moves with purpose, and wants to be part of creating something great.
This is a hands-on kitchen position for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that a strong kitchen requires urgency, organization, communication, creativity, and teamwork.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous line cook experience
• Strong sense of urgency
• Able to stay organized during high-volume service
• Excellent communication with the kitchen team
• Consistent execution and attention to detail
• Clean, organized workstation and strong food safety habits
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to take direction and feedback
• Someone who notices what needs to be done and DOES IT
• Dependable and ready to work

Hunters amp; Gatherers isn#39;t looking for someone who only wants to cook the same plate every day.
We want a cook who is excited to:
• Help brainstorm weekly specials
• Bring new food ideas to the kitchen
• Think creatively about ingredients we already have
• Help develop interesting dishes and features
• Taste, learn, experiment, and improve
• Take pride in putting out food guests get excited about
You don’t have to be an executive chef.
You do need to care about food.

You see a station getting hit and jump in.
You notice prep getting low before someone has to tell you.
You communicate.
You move.
You care what the plate looks like when it leaves the window.
You want to learn more, contribute ideas, and become a stronger cook.
