Area Manager

Performance Food Group seeks an Area Manager, Center of the Plate Specialist to drive sales growth for meat, seafood, and key protein categories across a defined territory. In this field-based role, you will develop and execute strategic account plans, build strong relationships with restaurant, healthcare, and retail customers, and serve as the primary product expert for center-of-the-plate solutions. You will partner closely with distribution, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, accurate pricing, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, analyzing performance and margins, negotiating within company guidelines, and training local sales teams on category knowledge and selling strategies. Responsibilities

• Train and support local sales teams on category knowledge and selling tactics
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards
