Skunk Ape Character-On Call
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Skunk Ape Walk Around Character/Performer
Department: Executive
Reporting Relationship: Director of Creative
Status: Seasonal/Non-exempt/Hourly
Starting Wage: $14.00 per hour
Summary of Duties:Responsible for walking about the park while meeting and greeting guest in a performance manner.
Primary Duties:
- Appear for meet and greets with guests, and as needed.
- Be comfortable performing in front of people and a camera.
- Pose for pictures and possibly sign autographs, as requested.
- Be comfortable wearing a costume in hot and humid weather.
- Be patient in working with diverse families, including, but not limited to, children with special needs and families that speak other languages.
- Provide our guests with fun, smiles, and special memories.
Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements:
High school or GED equivalency
Must be physically able to perform above duties without any physical limitations. Must be at least 5' 11" - 6' 2" tall in order for the costume to fit.
