Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, skilled, and motivated Building Maintenance & Groundskeeper to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and surrounding areas of multiple properties. This role is essential to maintaining the overall appearance and health of the grounds and landscaping. Candidates should have strong experience with general building maintenance, lawn care, irrigation systems, and equipment operation, and be comfortable working in Florida's outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain multiple properties including:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and coordinate repairs and service with outside contractors when necessary
• Building maintenance as necessary including interior/exterior painting and miscellaneous small repairs
• Coordinate routine maintenance of grounds including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, tree trimming, and general landscaping, helping to perform tasks as necessary

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, pumps, and sprinkler heads
• Program and monitor automated irrigation systems
• Identify turf health issues such as pest/disease outbreaks, and coordinate
• Maintain neat and orderly grounds including cart paths, flower beds, and landscaped areas.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–3 years experience in golf course or high-end grounds maintenance, with strong irrigation background.
• Familiarity with Florida turf types (e.g., Bermuda, Zoysia, St. Augustine) and landscaping practices.
• Proficiency with large-scale irrigation systems, controllers, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and groundskeeping equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and physical stamina.
• Valid Florida driver's license; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and walk long distances over uneven ground.
