Associate, Marketing Strategy and Analytics
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
Role Overview :
As a Marketing Strategy and Analytics Associate, you will be a part of the Customer Programs Direct Mail & Email strategy team. You will have ownership over some of the Customer Program products and strategy, which covers forecasting, testing strategy, campaign execution, and post-performance monitoring. You will also support the team’s data analysis needs and insight development.
What You’ll Do :
- Drive channel strategy by monitoring performance trends, scanning the external environment, and using analytics to identify key customer insights. Present findings and recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Lead the planning, forecasting and variance analysis for Direct Mail and Email cross-sell & up-sell campaigns and strategic initiatives
- Manage data driven execution of Direct Mail & Email campaigns: from strategic planning to production hand off.
- Use critical thinking to conduct post-campaign evaluations. Develop and present recommendations on performance trends and test & learn results.
- Recommend, develop, and execute enhancements for improving the operations of data-driven marketing programs. Seek improvement in existing marketing processes to make the work of the team more efficient.
- Collaborate closely with internal (Compliance, Content, Creative, Campaign Database Management, Product Strategy, Digital & Telesales) and external (Production & Print vendors) partners to understand business needs, ensure high execution quality, overcome challenges, uncover new opportunities and deliver results.
What You’ll Bring :
You are a motivated professional with a passion for data and high degree of intellectual curiosity. You are comfortable using SQL to explore and analyze large datasets. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide updates to key stakeholders around timelines, deliverables, testing and results.
Required Skills :
- Strong quantitative skills, Microsoft Office Suite and database/query applications knowledge (SQL/R)
- High degree of responsibility for leveraging database querying, analyzing data & summarizing results to be applied in support of making valuable customer-focused strategic decisions, to drive growth and innovation in the channel
- Ability to apply quantitative analysis and critical thinking to solve complex and time sensitive issues. Will need to handle multiple concurring priorities with minimal guidance.
- Ability to manage data driven Direct Mail & Email Marketing campaigns and to include forecasting & performance monitoring across multiple segments and products
- Ability to work collaboratively with their supervisor to recommend more efficient procedures for campaign management & execution and implement them.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- 3+ years related experience
- End user Business Intelligence software experience (PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with AI or data science tools
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
