What You’ll Lead

• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintenance, calibration, PMs, and repairs for production and facility support equipment.
• Documentation of general and critical work orders for facilities and manufacturing support assets.
• Development, implementation, and oversight of preventative maintenance schedules.
• Performance data analysis with recommendations for reliability and energy efficiency improvements.
• Large-scale maintenance projects, equipment installations, and system modernization initiatives.
• Monitoring of the Building Management System (BMRAM) to sustain optimal performance and minimal downtime per manufacturer guidance.
• Timely communication of equipment failures and repair progress via the Hard Down Notification system.
• Vendor and contractor coordination with oversight for adherence to procedures and regulations.
• Hazardous material labeling, inspection, and storage aligned with company procedures and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address maintenance needs and improve throughput.
• Mentorship and training for junior technicians; serve as a subject matter expert.
• Safety-first execution, following OSHA and company policies; active participation on the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree, technical certification, or journeyman license preferred.
• 7+ years in maintenance or a related field with deep mechanical, electrical, and HVAC expertise.
• Skilled with diagnostic tools, precision instruments, and advanced repair methods.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Experience with BMRAM or comparable CMMS/MMS platforms.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication capabilities.
• Physical readiness to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Computer and machine-interface proficiency to access, maintain, and acquire operational data.

Preferred

• Automation & Controls: PLC setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Welding & Fabrication: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding for repairs and custom work.
• Advanced HVAC/BAS: Strong background in building automation systems and HVAC diagnostics.
• Energy Management: Ability to drive efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Project Management: Lead multiple projects, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of safety and environmental standards at local, state, and federal levels.
