Project Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee operations and provide leadership for a complex, high-performance project. As the primary point of contact, you will manage a variety of programs related to engineering, maintenance, safety, quality, and operations, ensuring top-tier service and performance standards are met. Your role will involve close collaboration with military and civilian personnel, directing day-to-day operations, managing resources, and maintaining an effective working relationship with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and staff.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all contract requirements, overseeing budget and financial processes, and implementing best practices to ensure high levels of service delivery. You'll lead a diverse team, track and report on performance, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for all project-related matters, communicating effectively with government officials, contract representatives, and relevant stakeholders.
Manage and oversee the execution of contract objectives and deliverables, working closely with government teams to ensure alignment with mission goals.
Supervise a large workforce, including skilled trades, administrative staff, and subcontractors. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
Ensure compliance with performance objectives, standards, and reporting requirements.
Take direct responsibility for profit and loss (P&L), environmental conservation, and adherence to contract requirements.
Lead operations planning, particularly for contingency operations like severe weather events, and ensure effective execution during crises.
Play an active role in business development, maintaining strong customer relationships and seeking new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with five (5) years of experience in base support management or facility management with $15M+ in annual revenue (or equivalent experience, with 20 years of experience as a substitute for the degree).
Previous experience in a military environment is preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS work order management, particularly IBM Maximo, is a plus.
Experience with cost estimating software such as RS Means is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Solid understanding of base operations, including physical plant management, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and airfield operations.
Experience managing unionized workforce and familiarity with relevant government contracting policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent briefing and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate a variety of staff and operations to meet performance goals and deliverables.

Certifications & Licenses:

Valid Driver's License.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification.
Master's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration (preferred).
Professional Engineering (PE) license or related facility management certifications (preferred).
