JOB TITLE: Marketing & Communications Manager

SALARY: $50,000

SUMMARY:
The Marketing Communications Manager is in charge of ensuring Loveland Center, and all affiliate organizations, have adequate and appropriate representation in the community and ensuring all communications under the Loveland Umbrella stay on brand and reflect the mission, vision and values of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least two (2) years’ experience working in marketing, communication, or related field. Proven ability to create engaging content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written communications.

  • Knowledge of, or ability to master, Canva, iMovie, YouTube, Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Suite, Wordpress, and other needed computer programs.

DUTIES:

  • With Chief Operating Officer, Create and update the yearly Marketing and Communications strategy.
  • Create a yearly, monthly, and weekly marketing and communications calendar to ensure a balanced marketing plan is implemented across all Loveland locations, departments, and platforms.
  • Visit all program areas on a regular basis to collect marketing content for dissemination.
  • Create, and constantly update, a media list by area to disseminate information to.
  • Create content for, and post, on social media pages for all Loveland Center locations and affiliates on a regularly agreed upon schedule. This includes facebook, instagram, linked in, TikTok, and any other appropriate social media platform.
  • Work with Area Directors and Philanthropy team members to identify ongoing stories about their area and determine the best way to disseminate the information about those stories.
  • Create blog and vlog posts and disseminate information through appropriate channels.
  • Create press releases highlighting each area and disseminate them in accordance with the marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Create press releases for all grants and agency wide announcements.
  • Connect with Magazine contacts in each area to publish stories about Loveland.
  • Connect with media contacts for Area Directors and department heads to do TV or radio interview.
  • In collaboration with the Philanthropy department and Area Directors, create monthly newsletters for each area.
  • Create and update flyers and brochures for agency wide programs and affiliate agencies.
  • Keep all websites updated and current, including events, information, funders, and staff profiles.
  • With Chief Operating Officer, update style guides to keep up with the current needs of the agency
  • With Chief Operating Officer, work on brand related projects, such as lobbies, space designs, and uniforms.
  • Update Lobby videos and other promotional digital material
  • Work with vendors to create more in-depth videos, signage, and other promotional materials as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the Marketing Manager is regularly required to talk and hear; frequently is required to stand, walk, sit; and use hands. The Marketing Manager is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; as well as stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Marketing Manager may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that a Marketing Manager would encounter while performing the essential functions of their jobs.
