Job Title: Assistant Manager
Compensation: $17/hour + performance-based incentives
Position Type: Seasonal (4 - 6 months)
Potential Earnings: $20,000 - $50,000 (based on performance-based incentives) About Safe Tax

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Assistant Manager to support the General Manager and team during the busy tax season. As an Assistant Manager, youll help oversee daily operations, ensure team efficiency, and contribute to delivering a superior client experience. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who excels in organization and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Team Support & Coordination
- Assist the General Manager in supervising and supporting a team of tax professionals.
- Help organize schedules, assign tasks, and ensure workflows are managed effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for team members, providing guidance and resolving minor issues.
- Promote a client-focused environment by ensuring team members deliver exceptional service.
- Handle client inquiries and provide support to resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Uphold client confidentiality and compliance with all tax-related regulations.
- Oversee office operations in the absence of the General Manager, maintaining smooth workflows.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Assist with tracking performance metrics and provide feedback to help the team meet goals.
- Step in to address challenges as they arise, providing solutions to keep operations on track.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and ensure the team stays aligned with daily objectives.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (experience in tax preparation is a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supporting both team members and clients.
- Proficiency in handling customer service scenarios with professionalism and care.
