Personal care assistant
Salary: Negotiable
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant in the Reading, Pa area to help out at a local school district!
Schedule:
Hours: Typical School hours. start time between 8a-9a and end between 2:30p -3:30p. Expected weekly hours between 35 - 37.5
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals.
- Assist student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support and adapting teaching materials.
- Must have at least 6 months of experience working with students.
- CPR/First Aide certified
Pre-Employment Paperwork Requirements:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
- CPR/First Aid
