Key Responsibilities
- Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and conference calls
- Maintain heavy calendaring and manage high-volume phone communications
- Coordinate dates and logistics with opposing counsel
- Arrange court reporters, videographers, and interpreters for hearings and depositions
- Prepare and draft notices including Notices of Hearing, Depositions, and Mediations
- Provide administrative support and assist secretarial staff with projects and tasks
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems
- Sort, process, and send incoming and outgoing mail
- Initiate, answer, and properly route all phone calls
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications & Preferences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in computers and business software
- Prior experience in family law and/or immigration litigation strongly preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Local candidates preferred
- Genuine interest in the legal profession and long-term career commitment
