Live-In Rotational Nanny (2 Weeks on / off)

Location: Ocala, FL
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour
Commitment Level: Full-time, live-in, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours Guaranteed on working weeks
Schedule: Monday-Sunday; Two weeks on, two weeks off (live-in during working weeks)

Position Overview
A family with two children, ages 15 and 6, is seeking an experienced live-in Nanny to work an alternating two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule. During each two-week working period, the Nanny is fully responsible for the children and for keeping the household running smoothly. The 6-year-old is the primary focus of care, including school transportation and afternoon coverage. The 15-year-old is largely self-sufficient and primarily needs transportation to activities. This is a long-term position for a candidate who is confident working independently, comfortable with full sole-charge responsibility, and takes ownership of the home during their working weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide sole-charge care for the 6-year-old, including morning routine, 7:00 AM departure for a 7:20 AM school arrival, and approximately 3:00 PM pickup
• Transport the 15-year-old to school and to activities
• Prepare and plan meals for the children and household
• Manage laundry, dishes, and general household tidying
• Maintain overall household organization and daily operations throughout each two-week working period
• Support homework, routines, and after-school activities

Requirements

• Prior professional childcare experience with school-age children
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, and comfort with daily driving
• Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to drive the family vehicle)
• Comfortable with a live-in arrangement and an alternating two-week schedule
• Highly independent, organized, and proactive
• Committed to a long-term placement
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
